Anodizing and plating are electrochemical processes that convert the metal surface into a decorative, durable, corrosion-resistant finish or paint adhesion increase and for other purposes. EPCM, a mold made by using Metal 3D printing technology is suitably applicable to those challenging product having deep, uneven or thick wall thickness or complex geometry. Optimally designed heat control process prevents unnecessary heat transfer enabling to increase quality of injection parts, reduce process cycle time and even extend mold life. Modular type, in particular, offers convenience and time-reducing in core change. Compared with conventional type, this improved mold gives great advantages of economy such as lowering cost, quicker turnaround time and especially well-suited for small batch production as well as useful for testing and validation purposes.
